This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in business development within a fast-paced IT consulting firm. The intern will play an essential role in supporting the company s growth by assisting in the development and execution of LinkedIn and social media strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Target Audience Identification & List Building on LinkedIn or Similar Platforms
Conduct research to identify key target segments (e.g., Practice Heads, Delivery Managers, Directors, CMOs, CEOs of tech companies).
Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other relevant tools to create highly targeted connection lists within these segments.
Prioritize and segment lists based on job title, company size, industry, and engagement level.
Connection Building & Outreach
Send personalized connection requests to individuals on target lists from the LinkedIn profiles of 2 agency leaders, crafting compelling messages that demonstrate value and foster rapport.
Follow up with connection requests and engage in initial conversations with interested prospects.
Qualify leads and identify potential opportunities for the sales team.
Content Strategy & Engagement
Assist in developing and implementing content strategies for the agency leaders LinkedIn profiles, aligned with ongoing campaign themes and competitor activities.
Monitor and analyze post performance (e.g., reach, engagement, comments) and identify opportunities for improvement.
Engage with relevant content and industry discussions by liking, commenting, and sharing posts.
Data Tracking & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, including connections, conversations, and leads generated.
Prepare regular reports on the progress of LinkedIn activities and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Analyze data to identify trends, optimize strategies, and assess the impact of LinkedIn efforts.
Automation & AI
Stay updated on the latest tools and trends in the space, test them, and promote adoption in areas that can automate key processes for improved speed, efficiency, and impact.
Meet regularly (in-person and online) with the reporting manager and leadership team to track results, refine strategies, and explore new ideas.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (e.g., Diploma, BE, BBA, MBA).
Strong interest in B2B marketing, digital marketing, and social media.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills - MUST
Proficiency in LinkedIn.
Strong research and analytical abilities.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Proactive, self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preference for Pune-based candidates.
