Frontend QA Engineer (Mobile and Web)

Responsibilities. Come up with ideas and solutions for testing Mobile, Web, Desktop (mac and PC) Products while understanding customer use cases. Work independently and directly with the developers while still being a team player. Conduct black box functionality and regression tests.

Write and follow clear, concise test cases. Work with remote QA team members and if need be support testing on multiple projects. Experience with JIRA and an agile development process. Identify bugs and set base severity.

Ability to change course and adapt to IMVUs changing needs quickly and come up with testing strategies. Qualifications. Minimum of 5+ years of QA experience of writing and executing detailed test cases. Experience testing iOS, Android, web, and desktop (Mac and PC) is a must.

A solid understanding of front end functionality and behaviors, such as gestures, device rotation, backgrounding, loss of network connections, as well as platform specific UI elements. Strong analytical skills, including strong ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems. The ability to write clear bug reports, complete with reproducible steps, visual details and logs,and probability of errors occurring. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of working effectively with development engineering and other functions.

Experience with collaboration and productivity tools such as Confluence, TestRail and JIRA. About Us.
