Java Entity Manager - JPA/Hibernate (7-14 yrs)

EM (Java) job description with role and responsibilities :

Position : Java Entity Manager (EM)

Role :

- Develop and maintain Java applications utilizing Entity Manager to interact with the database

- Design and implement data models and mappings using JPA annotations

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure successful integration of EM functionality into the application

- Provide technical expertise in database design and query optimization

- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance of EM-related functionalities

Responsibilities :

- Implement CRUD operations for entities using Entity Manager

- Write efficient JPQL (Java Persistence Query Language) queries to retrieve data from the database

- Handle transaction management and concurrency control using EM

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to database interactions

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve EM implementation

- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in Java programming and database management

- Work closely with database administrators to optimize database performance and ensure data integrity

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

- Strong experience in Java development with proficiency in using JPA and Hibernate

- Knowledge of database concepts and query optimization techniques

- Experience working in a team-based environment and following agile software development methodologies

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
