Senior Golang Developer (6-8 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Golang Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, expertise in Go programming, and the ability to design and build high-performance, scalable systems.

Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Go.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.

- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.

- Contribute to architectural decisions to enhance system performance and scalability.

- Maintain proper documentation for all development tasks and processes.

Requirements :

- 6+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years specializing in Golang.

- Strong understanding of Go's concurrency model, goroutines, and channels.

- Experience with building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

- Proficiency in working with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.

- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Knowledge of messaging queues and streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Strong understanding of version control systems (Git).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.

- Experience with other programming languages like Python or Java is a plus.

- Contribution to open-source Golang projects is highly valued.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
