Quality Assurance Engineer - Mobile Testing (5-10 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

1. Plan, design, and execute manual test cases for mobile and web applications.

2. Conduct end-to-end testing to ensure product quality and adherence to best practices.

3. Identify, report, and prioritize bugs based on severity; communicate findings effectively with stakeholders.

4. Collaborate with Product Management and Business Teams to gather and clarify requirements.

5. Develop detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for various features and functionalities.

6. Perform regression testing and ensure timely delivery of defect-free features.

7. Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot issues and provide clear, actionable feedback.

8. Participate in design and technical feasibility discussions to ensure testability.

9. Stay updated on new testing methodologies and adapt to changes quickly.

Technical Skills Required :

1. Strong experience in manual testing of mobile applications (Android and iOS) and web applications.

2. In-depth knowledge of testing RESTful APIs, including validation of API responses and error codes.

3. Experience with tools for manual API testing and Appium for supporting manual validation of mobile app features

4. Familiarity with debugging tools, ADB commands, and crash monitoring tools.

5. Proficiency in using network monitoring tools for troubleshooting.

6. Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git, GitLab) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

7. Exposure to CI/CD workflows to understand deployment impacts on testing.

2. 5-7 years of experience in Mobile Testing; experience with application, UI and API testing including functional and end-to-end testing

3. Familiarity with code versioning and project management tools - Git (Gitlab), Jira and Confluence.

4. Exposure to retail industry, experience with e-commerce applications.

5. Knowledge on cloud-based solutions and platforms, preferred AWS.
