We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. You must have a strong understanding of the latest industry trends and content management systems. Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain WordPress Websites:
- Create, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client needs.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Code Optimization and Maintenance:
- Write clean, well-designed code and contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Conduct website performance tests and troubleshoot content issues.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Participate in client meetings to gather and understand requirements.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and team members.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement website security measures.
- Ensure sites are compliant with web standards and best practices.
- Regularly update websites to align with the latest WordPress releases and security patches.
- Content Management:
- Manage and monitor the content uploaded on the website.
- Work with content creators to implement best practices in SEO.
- Ensure the website is accessible and user-friendly across different devices.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Experience with creating custom themes and plugins.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
- Experience with WordPress CMS, MySQL databases, and version control tools like Git.
- Familiarity with website architecture and site structure.
- Design Skills:
- Understanding of responsive design principles and best practices.
- Experience with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is a plus.
- Ability to create a seamless and visually appealing user experience.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach to improving processes and fixing issues.
- Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with website analytics tools like Google Analytics.
- Understanding of web security principles and best practices.
