Workshop Manager

To manage a full fledged workshop for the maintenance and repairs of different trucks of mainly BS3, BS4 & BS6 models of TATA, Ashok Leyland and Eicher brands. The person should have minimum10 years of exp. working in similar capacity in any reputed workshop dealing in heavy commercial vehicles.

• Should have hands on experience in repairs and maintenance of the trucks ( Tata & Leyland).
• Responsible to manage the day to day activities of the workshop independently including Tyres and Bodyshop management.
• Responsible for timely and effective maintenance of all the vehicles of our fleet
• To lead the team of mechanics and other workshop and effective use of manpower.
• To ensure the adequate manpower available at all time for our workshop
• He will ensure all preventive maintenance is carried out timely.
• Responsible for the effective inventory management of inventory of spares and Tyres.
• Responsible for effective CPKM for maintenance and Tyres.
• Coordinate en- route repairs and close coordination with TATA and Leyland for warranty and service issues.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are recorded in the software properly
• Provide daily reports to Management.
• Should be able to convince the drivers about the maintenance of the vehicle and ensure they do not have any complaints.
• To ensure vehicles are repaired and out of the workshop as per the standard norms.
• To appoint new mechanics and helpers when needed.
