Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Java Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in software development, with a strong background in retail e-commerce. This role requires proficiency in the latest version of Java, Spring Boot, microservices, MongoDB, Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Github actions, KAFKA,REST services, Kafka, Mongo Atlas, other no SQL databases, Oracle, AWS, SQS, SNS, RDS, Dynamo DB, EC2, Lambda, ELB, CDN, VPC, IAM, Amazon Cognito, OAuth, OKTA, Sumo Logs, observability - Grafana

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable applications using the latest version of Java and Spring Boot.
•  Design, implement, and manage microservices architecture.
•  Work with MongoDB for efficient data management.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on Linux environments.
• Integrate and manage Kafka for real-time data processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of data engineering principles.
• Experience with Python, Kafka, Mongo DB and Spark.
• Familiarity with AWS services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Additional Requirements:

• Ready to work in the US time zone, as the client is based in California.
• Must be hardworking and committed to delivering high-quality solutions.
