Job Overview

• Here is a great opportunity for you to work on a cloud-native SaaS solution, used by some of the top newspapers and publishing houses in the Europe and the US.
• The SaaS solution is built using the most advanced web technologies and has an intelligent and partly AI based multilingual text proofing engine. The solution offers in-context text proofreader and correction services and is integrated with various content management systems and content authoring applications.
• As a web developer, you will work in frontend stack of various web applications of this solution which are built using Angular 2+, NodeJS and Java.

Role and Responsibilities

• Implement UI/UX using jQuery, Angular 2+, HTML, CSS
• Parse HTML DOM elements (such as Input, TextArea and ContentEditable) to extract texts (words, sentences etc.), select texts, underline texts, replace texts etc.
• Call backend server APIs, parse JSON responses and update UI elements (Tables, Divs etc.)
• Liaison with customers to resolve issues related with text manipulations.
• Provide technical support to customers for integration.
• Improve UI/UX and enhance performance of existing web applications.

Required Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in web development using JavaScript, jQuery, Angular 2+, JSON HTML, CSS.
• Strong programming, analytical and logical skills.
• Strong understanding of UI, maintaining cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.

Nice to have Skills

• Hands-on with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN.
• Experience with Cloud-Native applications.
• Experience working with Docker.
