Prepare and review export documentation including invoices, packing lists, export licenses, certificates of origin, and shipping instructions. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, laws, and customs procedures.
Coordinate with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely transportation and delivery of goods.
Handle export orders from clients, ensuring timely and accurate processing, packing, and dispatch. Track shipments and communicate status updates to customers.
Maintain regular communication with international clients to provide updates on order status, shipping schedules, and resolve any issues related to the export process.
Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics teams to manage inventory levels and ensure that export orders are fulfilled on time.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends in the international market. Assist in preparing quotes, pricing, and other relevant documentation.
Ensure smooth handling of payments for export transactions, including managing letters of credit, bank transfers, and invoices. Assist in minimizing payment risks by ensuring correct documentation.
Provide regular reports to management on export sales, shipment status, and any issues that may affect the delivery of goods.
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, or related field.
Proven experience in export sales, logistics, or international trade (typically 2-3 years).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and export management software.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Fluent in English, Quick learner, along with good communication skills.
