Job Description

The Field Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with customers within a designated geographical area. This role involves actively engaging with potential and existing clients, identifying their needs, promoting the companys products/services, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Field Sales Executive will be expected to meet sales targets, provide valuable market insights, and represent the company in a professional manner during all client interactions.


Products - Laminates / Sunmica, Decorative Wall Panels, Flooring, etc.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Revenue Generation:
    • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through direct sales efforts.
    • Identify and prospect new customers within the assigned territory to expand the customer base.
    • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers, highlighting key benefits and value propositions.
    • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with customers to close sales.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
    • Provide exceptional after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to identify new sales opportunities or resolve any issues.
  • Market Intelligence and Reporting:
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.
    • Report on sales performance, customer feedback, and market conditions to management.
    • Provide insights on customer preferences and suggest improvements to products or services.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and orders in CRM systems.
    • Prepare regular sales reports and forecast future sales based on trends and market analysis.
    • Ensure all documentation related to sales transactions is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork:
    • Work closely with other sales team members and departments to ensure seamless customer service.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns.
  • Product Knowledge:
    • Stay updated on the companys products/services, features, and industry trends.
    • Continuously improve knowledge to provide expert guidance to customers.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in field sales, business development, or a related role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and sales reporting tools.
