Job Description
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth environment operations, prioritizing developer productivity.
- Develop reusable Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) artifacts for consistent environment provisioning.
- Maintain and enhance system reliability, focusing on availability, performance, security, and scalability.
- Drive automation and configuration compliance using relevant tools.
- Take ownership of infrastructure tasks and strategies, proactively suggesting improvements.
- Foster innovation by exploring new technologies and approaches to adapt and transform the technology stack.
- Create and update technical documentation, adhering to design principles and architecture.
- Handle incidents and promote a culture of post-mortem analysis and knowledge sharing.
- Provide technical leadership and direction within the team.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective infrastructure operations.
- Manage cloud solutions cost-effectively and meet compliance requirements.
Required Skills :
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- 3-5 yrs of experience in SRE/DevOps.
- AWS Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AWS native services such as EC2, Route 53, S3, ELB, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, etc.
- Infrastructure Automation: Mastery in using Terraform and other automation toolsets to manage infrastructure.
- Kubernetes and EKS: Proficiency in Kubernetes orchestration with AWS/EKS, including the use of Helm Charts.
- Observability Tools: Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus and Datadog.
- CI/CD Implementation: Proven track record of setting up and implementing CI/CD pipelines for applications.
- Scripting Skills: Proficiency in Python and shell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
- Linux Fundamentals: Knowledge of Linux Kernel fundamentals for system optimization and troubleshooting.
- Database and Cache Management: Working knowledge of configuring and managing databases and caches, including RDS and Elasticache.
- Security Awareness: Awareness of infrastructure and application security best practices
