Kafka Developer

We are seeking an experienced Kafka Engineer to design, develop, and maintain distributed messaging platforms using Apache Kafka and Confluent Kafka. The ideal candidate will build scalable event-driven architectures and ensure the reliability and performance of Kafka ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Kafka and Confluent Kafka-based solutions.
• Develop and optimize Kafka clusters for high availability and scalability.
• Work with Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, and Schema Registry.
• Integrate Confluent features like Control Center, kSQL, and REST Proxy.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Kafka/Confluent environments.

Skills Required

• Proficiency in Kafka, Confluent Kafka, and Kafka Streams.
• Expertise in Java, .
• Experience with Kafka Connect, kSQL, and event-driven microservices.
• Familiarity with JSON schemas.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Certification in Confluent Kafka is a plus.
