GCP Data Engineer - BigQuery (5-8 yrs)

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team, proficient in BigQuery, Dataflow, and Airflow, with expertise in either Python or Java programming languages. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines for our organization s data infrastructure.

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable and efficient data pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Airflow.

- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Implement data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues in data pipelines and provide timely resolutions.

- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data engineering.

Skills Required :

- Proficiency in Google BigQuery, Dataflow, and Airflow.

- Strong programming skills in Python or Java.

- Experience with cloud based data technologies and services, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Understanding of data modelling concepts and data warehousing principles.

- Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes.

- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

- Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer).
