Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using Pyspark on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
- Work with large datasets and perform data cleaning, transformation, and analysis.
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring mechanisms.
- Collaborate with data scientists to build machine learning models and deploy them into production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to data pipelines and applications.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in big data technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Must-haves:
- 5+ years of experience in developing and deploying Pyspark applications.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with data warehousing and data lake architectures.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with stream processing frameworks (e.g., Kafka, Spark Streaming).
- Experience with data governance and security best practices.
