Job Description
We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with a strong background in Talend. The ideal candidate will possess robust analytical skills, extensive ETL knowledge, and the ability to work within a highly matrixed organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in Talend.
- Strong analytical and logical skills in SQL, stored procedures, and data mart/view creation in Teradata/SQL.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Talend, with a focus on AWS Cloud implementations.
- Integrate Talend with various AWS services, ensuring seamless data flow and transformation.
- Write efficient SQL queries and stored procedures, and create marts/views in Teradata/SQL.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the ETL landscape, from source systems to data warehouses, marts, and reporting.
- Demonstrate advanced ETL concepts and hands-on experience with both basic and advanced features of the Talend ETL tool.
- Collaborate effectively within a matrixed organizational structure, ensuring alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- End-to-end understanding of the ETL process, including source systems, data warehousing, data marts, and reporting.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with additional AWS services such as SC3 and Snowflake.
- Knowledge of Spark and its integration within the ETL process.
