Job Description
PURPOSE
This role will provide the functional implementation and support for the talent and compensation modules within Oracle HCM.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for gathering, managing and analysing requirements to design new application changes for own areas of responsibility ensuring sufficient effort is made to promote ""vanilla"" functionality.
- Takes part in the delivery, testing and support of application changes related to own area of responsibility.
- Responsible for ensuring quality solutions are delivered to business users.
- Contributes to the development process best practices and, using a consultative approach, gets buy-in from all stakeholders.
EXPERIENCE
- At least 2 years experience in HR system specification and deployment.
- Acting as a functional analyst with a good understanding of product capabilities and HR practices implementing systems or modules with experience of multiple full lifecycle implementations.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Functional understanding of Oracle HCM: (Core HCM, Talent Management, Compensation, Security)
- Knowledge of how HR modules are configured
- Work with key stakeholders to define reporting requirements and work with report developers on delivery
- Request and incident management with experience of raising Service Requests via My Oracle Support
- Understanding of the upgrade process
- Experience supporting and advising HR Teams and HCM Users
- Can translate technical information to non-technical individuals
