Sr. Data Architect

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in ETL tools like ADF, Informatica, AWS Glue, or similar.
• Hands-on experience in the design and implementation of Data Warehousing solutions.
• Proven experience in building at least two Enterprise Data Warehouses from scratch.
• Deep understanding of data migration, especially from on-premise to cloud.
• Ability to design ETL/ELT processes, author data flows, and identify solutions to technical challenges.
• Experience in translating business vision into ETL solution architecture.
• Communication & Collaboration:
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in presenting technical topics to large audiences.
• Direct experience working with customers and sales teams to develop solutions and project designs.

Good to Have:

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure SQL Database, Data Warehouse, Synapse, or Redshift.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Shell Scripts, PowerShell, Perl, Python, Scala, etc.
• Experience with data governance best practices and master data management designing skills.
• Exposure to conducting maturity assessments of existing data warehousing/ETL solutions.
• Strong knowledge of relational and dimensional modeling.
• Competency in data security, including anonymization techniques.
• Experience in defining migration strategies for cloud migration.

• Proactive in research, POC implementation, comparing alternative components, and preparing reports.

Requirements
Must Have:

Experience:

• At least 10 years overall in IT, with a minimum of 5 years in Data Warehouse and ETL technologies.

• Minimum of 2-3 years working on cloud platforms like AWS/Azure with services such as Azure DB, Azure Data Factory v2, Synapse, Redshift, Databricks, Snowflake, or Talend. (Expertise in any one of the OEM AWS/Azure)
