Hiring IT Support Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Monitor system performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Perform routine maintenance, including updates, backups, and patches.

Provide technical support to users and resolve hardware/software issues Assist in setting up user accounts and workstations..

Install, configure, and update operating systems and software applications Adopt new technologies like cloud Infra and Devops Tools Maintain accurate documentation of IT infrastructure and changes.

Record troubleshooting steps and resolutions for future reference.

Support the implementation of IT security policies Monitor and respond to security alerts under guidance.

Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking concepts. Familiarity with system administration tools and processes is a plus Set up user accounts, email addresses, and access permissions.

Configure and deploy laptops/desktops, and ensure all required software and tools are installed. Provide an IT orientation for new employees, including guidance on system usage and security protocols Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software licenses.

Ensure all equipment is tagged, recorded, and well-maintained. Keep records of all IT changes, incidents, and resolutions. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Other Requirements: Any cloud certification are IT-certification is preferred. Knowledge on shell scripting is a plus.
