Fabric Manager

Purpose of the Job

Manager Fabric interfaces with Vendors, Product Developers, Sourcing, Quality Assurance and to ensure that the garments produced meet the strictest of quality requirements and that all general specifications are met within prescribed TAT.

Key Result Areas for the Incumbent

- Process Responsibilities

• Ensuring MRN, Strike off/Lab dip approvals, Mill visits
• Work closely with Mills staff and Design team to ensure Fabric approvals to be placed

- People Management Responsibilities

• Initiate and Track all information related to Fabric and to provide details with vendors

- Financial Responsibilities

• NA

• Delivery turn around time

The candidate would have to interact and manage the following stakeholders

Work closely with Mills and Other vendors

In order to be considered for the role the ideal candidate should have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in apparel fabric industry
• Must have exposure to Export Houses or Mill
