Environmental Health and Safety Officer

Role & responsibilities

1. Statutory compliance and record keeping like accident register, health register,

inspection book etc

2. Monitoring plant safety

3. Identification of unsafe act / unsafe condition at work place

4. Initiate and organize OHS training at site

5. Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.

6. Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.

7. Conducts Job Safety Analysis, formulating HIRA.

8. Investigation of all accidents, near miss and it's reporting.

9. Conducts Tool Box meetings.

10. Ensure preparation and implementation of Site Safety and Health Plan

11. Responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations

12. Correct unsafe acts or conditions through the regular line of authority.

13. Maintains awareness of active and developing situations..
