Cnc Turning Programmer

Responsibilities:

• New product part programming and prove out
• Set up CNC lathes and turning machines, including tooling, fixtures, and workpieces.
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and calibrations to ensure correct machine operation.
• Optimize CNC programs for maximum efficiency, speed, and quality.
• Troubleshoot any machine or program-related issues, adjusting settings as necessary.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any technical issues.
• Maintain detailed records of programs, setups, revisions, and part specifications
• Continuously improve programming techniques and contribute to process improvement initiatives
