• We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager in Maintenance
• The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability, and implementing preventive maintenance programs

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Maintenance:Oversee the maintenance of machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and longevity
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
• Team Leadership:Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and support staff
• Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure a high level of efficiency and productivity
• Maintenance Planning:Develop and implement maintenance plans and strategies to optimize equipment reliability
• Coordinate with production schedules to minimize disruption to operations
• Budget Management:Collaborate with the finance department to establish and manage the maintenance budget
• Monitor and control expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness
• Safety Compliance:Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team
• Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed
• Vendor Management:Liaise with external vendors and suppliers for equipment maintenance and repairs
• Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements are met
• Continuous Improvement:Identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes and implement efficiency measures
• Introduce new technologies and best practices to enhance maintenance operations
• Documentation:Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and replacements
• Generate reports on maintenance activities and performance metrics
