Job Description: PLC Programmer and Drive Configuration Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced PLC Programmer and Drive Configuration Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, configuring, and troubleshooting Siemens and Mitsubishi PLC systems, as well as configuring and commissioning variable frequency drives (VFDs) and other industrial automation components.

Key Responsibilities:

1. PLC Programming:

• Develop, debug, and maintain PLC programs for Siemens (e.g., S7-1200, S7-1500) and Mitsubishi (e.g., FX, Q, iQ-R series) systems.
• Create logic diagrams, ladder logic, function block diagrams, and structured text programming.
• Optimize and test PLC programs to ensure reliable and efficient operation of automated systems.

2. Drive Configuration:

• Configure, parameterize, and commission Siemens (e.g., Sinamics) and Mitsubishi drives (e.g., FR series).
• Set up communication protocols like Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, and Ethernet/IP.
• Troubleshoot and resolve drive-related issues, including motor control and power settings.

3. System Integration:

• Integrate PLCs and drives with other industrial components, such as HMI (Human-Machine Interface), SCADA systems, and sensors.
• Ensure seamless communication and synchronization between PLCs, drives, and external devices.

4. Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

• Perform diagnostics and resolve hardware and software issues in PLCs, drives, and control systems.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance and system upgrades.

5. Documentation and Training:

• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including wiring diagrams, program logic, and user manuals.
• Provide training and technical support to operators and maintenance teams.

6. Project Management:

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement automation solutions.
