Quality Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Preparing Quality assurance plan, weld plan using Approved drawing.

• Executing WPS, Welder qualification and recording.

• Writing NDT, Mock up, Hydro testing procedures.

• Performing stage, Final, Hydro testing, Painting inspection. Coordinate Inspection works based on

Production needs.

• Monitoring all activities involved before, during & after welding has to be inspected.

• Coordinating Inspectors of TPI/ Client for Inspection activities.

• Review and monitor the Calibration logs, certificates and sending out instruments on time for external

calibration works.

• Issue of Internal NCR and Suppliers NCR and assist for required CA/PA and maintain register.

Maintenance of NCR List and Summary.

• Overseeing the Inspection and repair Activities and provide necessary support to complete the Inspection

works on time.

Key Skills:

• Inspection of pressure vessels, Heat Exchangers, Rotary kiln, Paper mill Equipments & heavy structures.

• Welding Inspection

• Raw material inspection

• NDT Inspection

• ASME Standards (Sec II, V, VIII, IX)
