Manager - Legal - Real Estate (6-8 yrs)

An MNC Data Center firm is hiring a real estate lawyer to serve as a legal expert in property-related transactions and matters. This role involves providing legal guidance, drafting and reviewing contracts, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and to work closely with various departments within the company, as well as with external stakeholders, to facilitate smooth and legally sound real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, leases, and development agreements.

- Ensure all contracts are legally binding and compliant with current laws and regulations.

- Conduct thorough due diligence on real estate transactions to identify potential legal risks and liabilities.

- Ensure all real estate activities comply with local, state, and federal laws, including zoning and environmental regulations.

- Provide legal advice and support to various departments within the company, including finance, operations, and development.

- Identify and assess potential legal risks associated with real estate transactions.

- Develop risk mitigation strategies and implement measures to protect the company's assets and interests.

- Coordinate with external counsels for registration of sale deed, lease deed and other related documents

SKills/Exp:

- LLB/LLM with 6-8 years' experience in real estate transactions

- Proven track record of managing complex real estate transactions and disputes

- Strong understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and industry practices

- Proficiency in legal research and analysis

- Should have good communications and planning skills as well as personality to engage internal and external stakeholders
