Manager - Reinsurance

Role & responsibilities:

• Liaise with cedents to assess reinsurance needs, gather documents, and evaluate risk profiles.
• Negotiate with reinsurers, MGAs, and brokers to secure optimal terms.
• Arrange and submit reinsurance terms to insurers.
• Ensure cedents understand coverage terms and industry regulations.
• Coordinate binding capacity and necessary documentation.
• Manage premium remittance with the accounts team.
• Oversee compliance documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Assist clients with claims and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Handle policy renewals, amendments, and mid-term adjustments.
• Advise clients on risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Maintain relationships with cedents, reinsurers, MGAs, and brokers.
• Generate business leads and expand client engagement.
• Manage administrative tasks and record-keeping.
• Build networks with industry professionals.
• Stay updated on market trends and regional developments.
