Jira Developer - Agile Methodologies (4-6 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement custom workflows, automations, and scripts to enhance Jira functionality and streamline development processes.

- Configure and manage Jira boards, user permissions, and project settings.

- Collaborate with development teams to understand their needs and translate them into effective Jira configurations.

- Troubleshoot and resolve Jira related issues, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Jira features and plugins, and recommend improvements to the development process.

- Create and maintain detailed documentation for Jira configurations and customizations.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall code quality.

Qualifications :

- 4 to 6 years of experience as a Jira Developer or similar role.

- Proven experience in configuring and customizing Jira workflows, automations, and scripts.

- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and development workflows.

- Experience with Jira administration, user management, and security settings.

- Proficiency in scripting languages like Groovy or Python (a plus).

- Experience with REST APIs and webhooks (a plus).

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus Points :

- Experience with Jira Server and Cloud deployments.

- Experience with other Atlassian products like Confluence and Bitbucket.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrations with Jira
