Job Summary:
As a Cashier at an automobile dealership service center, your primary responsibility is to handle all front-end cash transactions and ensure accurate financial reporting by the end of each day. You will serve as the first point of contact for customers, manage cash flow, and provide excellent customer service. Your role includes processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with company policies for financial operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Handle all cash and card transactions for customer payments at the service center.
• Process invoices, receipts, and refunds promptly and accurately.
• Maintain a daily log of all financial transactions and ensure proper reconciliation by the end of the day.
• Generate and share end-of-day reports with the finance department.
• Address customer queries related to billing and payments with clarity and professionalism.
• Ensure the safety and security of cash and payment instruments.
• Coordinate with the service advisors and the workshop team for accurate billing.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and assist in periodic audits.
• Follow up with customers regarding pending payments or dues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for cash handling.
• Assist in the implementation of digital payment methods to enhance customer convenience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong numerical and financial management skills.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy in cash handling and reporting.
• Proficiency in using billing software and MS Office tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle pressure and multitask efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial documentation.
• Familiarity with digital payment systems and tools is an advantage.
