Lead Engineer-Testing

R Systems International is looking for a highly skilled professional with expertise in programming languages and frameworks like JavaScript, C#, Java, Python, and .NET. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation for web, mobile, middleware, and firmware applications. Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, and RestAssured, along with experience in API testing using Postman and SoapUI, is essential. Familiarity with mobile testing on Android and iOS, cloud-based platforms, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo), and databases (SQL, No-SQL) is required. Additionally, expertise in TDD/BDD approaches, test automation frameworks, and experience in IoT and SaaS testing will be key for this role.

• Participate in Scrum and Agile development activities, collaborating with team members to support quality assurance tasks. 
• Analyze user stories and tickets, develop and optimize test cases, and perform regression testing. 
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API platforms using industry-standard tools. 
• Perform manual and automated testing for frontend (UI/UX) and backend services (APIs, databases). 
• Ensure mobile apps comply with platform-specific guidelines and optimize performance across devices. 
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman and Swagger to validate RESTful services. 
• Provide test summaries, traceability, and bug reports to support Go/No-Go decisions. 
• Lead the design of technical roadmaps for automation solutions in collaboration with development and QA teams. 
• Oversee multiple scrum QE teams and assist the Business Unit Quality Engineering Manager. 
• Establish and govern automation metrics and KPIs, rolling up test metrics to stakeholders. 
• Work with senior leadership to communicate testing solutions, ROI, and cost across multiple portfolios. 
• Provide consultation on testing and automation strategies for various applications and teams. 
• Conduct gap analysis on current testing implementations and provide strategic direction to optimize processes and methodologies. 
• Collaborate with architecture and delivery teams to build testing and automation solutions to achieve CI/CD goals.
