Tech Services - Scrum Master

We at Magic EdTech are seeking a Scrum Master to drive agile development processes and ensure adherence to Scrum principles and best practices. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Product Owner and development team to foster a high-performing, self-organizing environment and deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective meetings.
• Coach the team on agile principles and practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Responsible for organizing and leading project governance and meetings.
• Support to the Program Manager for any other project-related activities that are essential to the engagement operations.
• Work closely with the product owner to ensure that the product backlog is prioritized and refined.
• Help the team to identify and mitigate risks and dependencies.
• Following up on action plans with team members, updating risk and issue statuses, and monitoring key project metrics to ensure compliance.
• Monitor and report on team performance and progress, and help the team to continuously improve its processes and practices.
• Ensure that the team is following the Scrum framework and that all ceremonies and artifacts are properly executed and maintained.
• Work with the product owner to ensure that the product backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and groomed.
• Help the team to define and track key metrics, such as velocity, burn-down charts, and sprint goals.
• Facilitate retrospectives and help the team to identify and implement process improvements.
• Help to resolve conflicts and promote a positive team dynamic.
• Remove any impediments that are preventing the team from achieving its goals.
• Experience in handling the project internal and external audits.
• Familiarity with project management frameworks and tools, such as JIRA, Azure Devops, confluence, trello.

Whats Required :

• Strong understanding of agile principles and practices, and experience working in an agile environment.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and customers.
• Experience working with distributed teams and remote team members.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification preferred.

SAFe cerification is perferable
