Job Description:

RRD Is looking for highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Property Accountant with 2-10 years of experience in REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) general ledger accounts and property accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing general ledger activities for real estate properties and be proficient in industry-specific accounting software, including Yardi, MRI, and RealPage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain REIT general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements related to property accounting.
• Handle month-end and year-end close processes for property accounts.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
• Work closely with property management teams to provide accurate financial reporting and support.
• Utilize Yardi, MRI, and RealPage software for property accounting functions, including data entry, reporting, and analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-10 years of experience in REIT general ledger accounts and property accounting.
• Proficiency in Yardi, MRI, and RealPage software is essential.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
