The Azure Data Lead will be responsible for leading data initiatives on the Azure platform, ensuring the design, development, and implementation of robust data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, data architecture, and cloud computing, with a specific focus on Azure technologies.
Job Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality modern data solutions through collaboration with team members and customers.
- Manage projects ranging from short-term client assessments to multi-year delivery engagements with large, blended teams.
Requirements
Experience :
Hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or a similar role.
Azure Skills: - Provisioning, configuring, and developing solutions in Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.
- In-depth understanding of database structure principles and performance troubleshooting.
- Experience with Azure SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar RDBMS platforms.
- Distributed data processing for big data batch or streaming pipelines.
- Construction of data science and machine learning research and production pipelines.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI.
Data Modeling and Analytics :
- Strong analytics skills in data modeling.
- Experience in database migration from legacy systems to new solutions.
- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models using tools like ER Studio, Erwin.
- Configure CI/CD pipelines for Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics using Azure DevOps.
Data Management :
- Understanding of data quality improvement and master data management.
- Implement data security and governance.
Soft Skills :
- Problem-solving attitude.
- Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
