Overview:

R. Arora & Associates is looking to hire an Accountant - Accounts Payable profile, to work with a UK based client.

Job Description (Key duties):

• Verification and Processing of invoices. Knowledge of accounting for import and export taxes an advantage but not required.
• Reconciling purchase ledger accounts to supplier statements.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues with suppliers.
• Receipting purchase orders as and when required in liaison with operational teams.
• Processing employee expenses and ensure timely and accurate reimbursement.
• Recognise and allocate invoices for Fixed and Intangible assets and record these on the monthly ledgers.
• In liaison with the Assistant Accountant process inter-co transactions to the relevant accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
• Any other duties as designated.

Candidate Profile: 

• Use of SAP B1 is essential. Ability to use Reckon is an advantage.
• Advanced excel skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills - in order to interact efficiently with the UK team.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work well with the team in UK across the timezone.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills will be appreciated.
