Interior Designer and Project Manager

We are seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer to lead the design and production of custom cabinetry and interior spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Oversee Production:

• Develop and finalize design concepts for cabinetry and interior spaces.
• Oversee the entire production process to ensure high-quality, accurate results.
• Ensure designs meet client specifications and project timelines.

Client Collaboration:

• Conduct client meetings to gather requirements, preferences, and feedback.
• Present design proposals and make necessary adjustments based on client input.
• Maintain ongoing communication to ensure client satisfaction throughout the project.

Project Management:

• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, and installation) to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.

Material Selection and Sourcing:

• Research and select appropriate materials and finishes for cabinetry and interiors.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure material availability and cost-effectiveness.
• Stay updated on industry trends to incorporate innovative materials and techniques.

Site Visits and Implementation:

• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and constraints.
• Oversee implementation of designs to ensure alignment with the plan.
• Address any issues that arise during installation and ensure design accuracy.

Required Skills:

Technical Proficiency:

• Expertise in CAD software (e.g., B-Cabinet or similar) and other design tools.
• Strong understanding of construction and production processes.

Communication Skills:

• Ability to clearly articulate design concepts to clients and team members.
• Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills to ensure project alignment.

Problem-Solving and Adaptability:

• Proactive approach to identifying and resolving design and production challenges.
• Flexibility to adapt designs based on client feedback and project constraints.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cabinetry design, production, and project management.
• Demonstrated portfolio with completed interior design projects, showcasing creativity and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

Team Roles:

• Designer: Lead the creative design process, ensuring innovative and functional designs.
• Project Manager: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, serving as the main point of contact for clients and the team.
• Manufacturing Coordinator: Liaise between the design team and manufacturing to ensure seamless production and quality control.
• Client Liaison: Maintain strong client relationships, gather feedback, and ensure satisfaction to drive repeat business.
