Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and specifications to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Execute manual test cases to ensure software functionality, usability, and performance.
• Perform regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, and track defects in collaboration with development teams to ensure resolution.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Leverage tools like Selenium, Appium, JUnit/TestNG, or equivalent frameworks to automate testing processes.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable testing cycles.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand and validate requirements.
• Provide clear and concise bug reports, test results, and suggestions for improvement.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.
• Proactively suggest improvements to testing processes and frameworks to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Experience and knowledge of API testing.
• Experience of being part of Agile team and preferably Scrum.
• Experience of using Agile tools like Jira.

Required Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in automation and function testing testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.
• Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Postman, JMeter).
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) and database query skills (SQL).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with cloud-based (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
