Android Developer

We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to join our Mobile Device Infrastructure team, which is integral to maintaining a healthy, responsive device fleet for customers. This team handles complex challenges, from reverse engineering to backend services, all with a focus on real-time device management and optimized performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Android applications and mobile agents for real-time device management and streaming.
• Perform reverse engineering and debugging to optimize Android system behavior for specific use cases.
• Improve device fleet management performance through device-specific issue resolution, allocation optimization, and cleanup processes.
• Expose and maintain metrics to support data-driven decision-making across the system.
• Take ownership of solutions end-to-end, including backend services, CI/CD, and quality assurance.
• Work with internal and hidden Android APIs (AOSP, adb protocol) to enhance device availability and performance.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin, with strong understanding of the Android SDK.
• Experience with Android system internals, including communication protocols and MDM (Mobile Device Management) profiles.
• Reverse engineering and debugging expertise, with tools like Wireshark or Hopper Disassembler.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps best practices.
• Experience with APK signing, Google Play Console, and deployment processes.

Extra Skills:

Golang experience.

Knowledge of Objective-C / Swift.

Linux/Unix-based system experience.
