Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Performance Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of hands-on experience in performance testing, with a strong background in designing testing strategies and plans. You will be responsible for ensuring our systems meet the highest performance standards and can handle the required load and stress conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct performance, load, and stress tests on various applications and systems to identify bottlenecks, failure points, and areas for improvement
• Design and implement comprehensive performance testing strategies and plans, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts
• Analyze test results, identify performance issues, and provide detailed reports with actionable recommendations for improvements.
• Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate performance testing into the software development lifecycle
• Maintain and upgrade performance testing tools and frameworks to ensure they meet current testing needs.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of testing processes, methodologies, and results
• Experience and knowledge of API testing.
• Experience of being part of Agile team and preferably Scrum.
• Experience of using Agile tools like Jira.

Required Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of hands-on experience in performance testing.
• Proficiency with performance testing tools such as JMeter /LoadRunner/Gatling
• Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, including load, stress, scalability, and endurance testing
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, or similar for test automation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex performance data
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based performance testing (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic
• Certification in performance testing
