Job Overview:

- We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial controller to oversee the financial health and management of our service company in India.

- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Indian financial regulations, financial reporting, and advanced expertise in MIS, Tally, and MS Excel.

- This role requires strategic planning, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Compliance:

- Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements and reports as per Indian accounting standards and compliance requirements.

- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory obligations.

- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.

Budgeting & Cost Control:

- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to align with business objectives.

- Monitor and control expenses to optimize cost efficiency and profitability.

Management Information Systems (MIS):

- Prepare, analyze, and present MIS reports to aid strategic decision-making.

- Design and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).

Financial Analysis & Planning:

- Conduct financial analysis to support management in strategic planning.

- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance.

Technology & Tools:

- Utilize Tally ERP for day-to-day financial operations and reconciliations.

- Leverage Advanced MS Excel skills (e., pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUPs) for data analysis and reporting automation.

Team Leadership:

- Supervise and mentor the finance team, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to financial best practices.

- Provide guidance on financial policies and procedures to relevant stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

Education: CA/ICWA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.

Experience: Minimum 5+ years in a financial management/controller role, preferably in the service industry.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in Tally ERP and Advanced MS Excel (macros, dashboards, complex formulas).

- Hands-on experience with Indian financial systems, regulations, and compliance (GST, TDS, etc.

Soft Skills:

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

- Leadership and team management skills.
