PCB Design Engineer

Job Description:

The Engineer is expected to transfer schematic net-list design into the physical PCB design basing on electrical guidance, signal integrity, power integrity, EMC and safety, manufacturing industry spec and end-user usability requirements. He/She must be able to collaborate with different system design teams to understand the requirements and to develop fitting solutions. The job involves multi-layer PCB designs in mixed signal domain (Digital/Analog/RF/Power). Further the Engineer is expected to adhere to the process and argument for efficiency and to get the design right for the first time. Engineer passion to introduce additional process measures to further cement the groups expertise will be received with great enthusiasm and interest.

Role - PCB Design Engineer (3 - 5 years\ Experience)

Skills:

• Diploma / bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering.

• Expertise in using Mentor Xpedition tools. (Designer, Layout, Library Manager).

• Hands-on experience with Altium / Zuken software is added advantage.

• Experience in Signal Integrity and Power Integrity analysis for PCB design.

• Very good knowledge of relevant IPC design standards for Library creation / PCB design / Schematic Entry.

• Knowledge on MCAD tool is added advantage.

• IPC CID/ CID + certification is added advantage.

• Strong skills for Design for manufacturing, Design for assembly, design for test, design for Electromagnetic compatibility.

Requirement:

• Analyze technical Requirement to execute Layout Engineering

• Perform circuit design and schematic capture.

• StackUp design and Layer Planning.

• Create and manage PCB design documents including fabrication and assembly drawings, Gerber files, Bill of Material, etc.

• Experience in EMI/EMC standards to meet the certifications like ROHS, FCC, CE etc.

• Work with cross-functional teams comprised of Hardware, Mechanical, Electrical, and Testing teams.

• Assist in board bring up and related testing activities.

• Work closely with PCB manufacturers and PCB assembly houses.

• Must be able to work with timelines & commitments.

• Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills with good working attitude.
