Key Responsibilities:

• Scrum Facilitation: Lead Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives) for web development teams, ensuring that they are efficient and effective.
• Web Development Understanding: Work closely with development teams (front-end, back-end, full-stack) and Product Owners to ensure the team is aligned with the technical goals and business requirements.
• Agile Coaching: Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to team members on Agile methodologies, helping them adopt Scrum practices and improve delivery capabilities.
• Remove Impediments: Identify and remove blockers or challenges preventing the team from delivering high-quality web applications and ensure the teamprogress is unhindered.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, QA, UX/UI designers, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth coordination and timely delivery of web-based projects.
• Continuous Improvement: Foster an environment of continuous improvement by encouraging teams to reflect on their processes and suggesting improvements.
• Tracking and Reporting: Track and report on key metrics like velocity, burndown charts, and sprint progress to ensure the team meets their commitments and to improve team performance.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify and manage risks, offering solutions or workarounds to keep the team on track.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain transparent communication between stakeholders, the development team, and leadership, ensuring that progress, challenges, and opportunities are clearly communicated.
• Agile Transformation: Act as a change agent, helping the organization embrace Agile methodologies and guiding other teams through their Scrum adoption.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, particularly in Agile web development environments.
  • Strong experience working with web technologies / Data science and understanding of how they integrate into Agile teams.
  • Proven ability to manage Scrum ceremonies and coach teams to success.
• Certifications:
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Skills:
  • Deep understanding of Agile principles and Scrum practices.
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies / Data science and how they influence development workflows.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in using project management tools like Jira, Confluence, MPP, etc.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Education:
  • Bachelordegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
