Job Description
- Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance Database/data warehouse-based platform and solutions
- Optimize and automate ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for real-time and batch data
- Build, test, and maintain data pipelines to collect, clean, and transform data from various sources.
- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
- Work closely with data science, analytics, product, and IT teams to align data engineering strategies with business objectives.
- Ensuring compliance with security and data protection policies.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, new tools, and technologies to drive innovation in data engineering practices.
Work Experience
- BachelorDegree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience with at least 4 years of in SQL and experience in ETL technologies (e.g., Apache Airflow, Informatica).
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Data grid ,snowflake , Kafka.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-based data solutions.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
- Knowledge of data warehousing solutions (e.g. SQL Warehouse, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Experience with Git based version control systems.
- Knowledge of DevOps concepts and experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools
- Strong data analysis skills
