QA Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Test engineers specializing in Warehouse Automation systems. Candidate should have strong background in software testing within Warehouse automation domain, preferably with site testing experience.

Key Responsibility

Test Plan Development: Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on system requirements and design documents.

• Functional/System testing: conduct comprehensive tests on Warehouse Management systems and automation solutions to ensure they meet design specifications and performance standards
• Integration testing: Collaborate with software and controls teams to test the integration of various system components, ensure seamless communication and functionality.
• Issue Identification and Resolution: Identify, document and troubleshoot issues or bugs during testing phases, working closely with development teams to implement fixes.

Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of test procedures, results and any modifications made during the testing process.

Defect Management : Identify, document and track defects using standardized tools and processes.

Collaboration : Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Work closely with cross functional teams, including software developers, project managers and clients to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Continuous improvement: Continuously assess and improve testing processes, tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering or related field
• Overall 5+ Years of experience. Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in automation testing using Java Selenium, TestNG framework,
• Experience in backend, API testing and web services such as REST and SOAP.
• Strong understanding of the warehouse automation or logistics domain
• Hands on experience in software and controls integration in automated systems
• Sound knowledge in industry-standard software Quality Assurance methodologies, Software Testing, tools and processes
• Experience in using test management tools like TestRail
• Experience in bug/issue tracking tool like JIRA
• Experience with Git or other distributed version control systems
• Experience in working on Windows and Linux Operating Systems
• Estimate requirements based on analysis and prepare high level scenarios and test plans
• Collaborates with the development team on bug fix verification and validation (regression testing)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with onsite testing and commissioning
