Job Description
- To lead teams of engineers towards successful and sustained delivery of work related to Oil & Gas domain in project support functions such as Systems Completion (pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up support), Source Inspection & Quality and Project Services (project cost management, planning & scheduling, project controls, management of change).
- To grow the current programs in terms of expanding support to additional business units / projects of the client, through demonstrated successes in ongoing support.
- To ensure appropriate resourcing for delivering all activities under the program through development of organizational structure, recruiting via support of talent acquisition team, providing requisite training, strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives
- Develop program assessment protocols and KPIs for evaluation and improvement
- Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
- Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached
- Manage budget and funding channels for the programs
- Work closely with client focal points for routine delivery, future business growth opportunities, resolution of issues, periodic status review meetings, resourcing and work flow development
- Interface with cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
- Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
- Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders
- Accountable for delivery to all KRAs set by reporting manager(s) from time to time
Work Experience
- 20+ years of experience in oil and gas / energy domain, specifically managing end-to-end projects / project related functions in owner / operator company or EPCs or Engineering services organizations.
- Bachelor degree in any engineering discipline
- Specific skills & knowledge in the domains of Project Services (project cost management, planning & scheduling, project controls, management of change), Systems Completion (pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up support), Source Inspection & Quality.
- Proven skills in leadership, team management, facilitation, and organization
- Exceptional ability in managing stakeholders, preferably in a multinational scenario
- Strong passion and fully motivated to grow the business through outstanding delivery, people development and strategic thinking
- Sound knowledge of change management principles, quality processes and performance evaluation processes
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
- Excellent presentation and convincing skills
