Product Test & Automation Engineer

About the Role

We\re looking for a dynamic team player who is driven by results and passionate about industrial electronic products and respective test deliveries. He/She will be working on a range of electricity metering offers with communications, Input/Output capabilities, and more. Direct experience in product & system testing is important and some background in the Agile process is a plus.

The position is called Product Test & Automation Engineer and will be working in our Power Monitoring business unit, based at SE, Brookfield/Whitefield office , and reporting to the Delivery Manager & working team (s)

Responsibilities

Possess good knowledge and expected to work in,

o Product or System testing specifically on,

\u00A7 Communication protocol & Interoperability tests
(Modbus over RS-485, Ethernet, BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee etc. )

\u00A7 Product application & tests

\u00A7 Others;

\u00A7 EMI/EMC pre-compliance

\u00A7 Electronics hardware functional tests

\u00A7 Electrical safety, boundary conditions, & performance

\u00A7 Related product standards & claim tests

\u00A7 Environmental simulation & mechanical

Gained adequate experience in Integration & testing (Hardware, Firmware, etc. )

Requirements

Should be interested to work with Power system domain

Expertise on Test automation tools and technologies

(i. e. , by using LabView &/ Python)

Competent in handling test equipments

Should be a team player

Demonstrates good execution skills and interest

Process (example, test plan, strategy, traceability, reporting etc. ) & result oriented, self-driven

Qualifications - External

Diploma/B. E. /B. Tech in ECE/EEE/E&I
