Battery and BMS Engineer

Essential Responsibilities:

• Research, explore latest technologies in Battery and storage market.
• Battery chemistry technology deep dive, papers understanding, work with supplier on cell to module development.
• Prepare proposals on new technologies to suit the power conversion and energy storage applications.
• New technology Introduction active participation and collaboration for developing BMS hardware and software, Battery, Cooling solutions.

Key Qualifications

• Educational Background: A bacheloror masterdegree in electrical / electronic engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or specialized certifications in battery technology can be beneficial.

• Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience in battery design, development, and testing. Familiarity with lithium-ion, solid-state, and other emerging battery technologies is essential.

Battery Management system: Having experience in BMS design, PCB development, Software coding, Micro controller CPLD/ FPGA programming. Ability to partner with PCB manufacturer and test, qualify as per standards.

• Analytical Skills : Strong data analysis skills, with proficiency in statistical software and modeling tools. Experience with software like MATLAB or Python for simulations and data analysis is advantageous.
• Hands-On Experience: Experience in laboratory settings, including working with electrochemical testing equipment and fabrication processes. Familiarity with battery assembly and prototyping techniques is important.
• Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences. Experience in preparing reports and delivering presentations is a plus.
• Problem-Solving Skills : Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify issues and implement effective solutions. A proactive approach to troubleshooting is essential.
• Collaboration : Demonstrated ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment. Experience in working with diverse groups is beneficial.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design purposes. Experience with battery management system (BMS) design tools is also a plus.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of current trends in the battery industry, including environmental regulations and sustainability practices. Awareness of market demands, and customer needs is crucial.
• Quality Assurance Experience: Knowledge of quality assurance processes and standards in engineering. Experience with ISO standards and quality control methodologies is advantageous.
• Continuous Learning: A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with industry advancements. Participation in workshops, conferences, and relevant training is encouraged.
