Job Description
- Under the direction of the customer, this position will be responsible for leading systems engineering activities, including systems requirements, design and development, system architecture/ design and system integration of Automotive Systems, with specific focus on Powertrain Control systems.
- Responsible for creating Simulink models based on control specification in Powertrain domain.
- Systems engineering, modelling and validation activities analyzing requirements and assessing compliance, defining interfaces, flow down of system requirements to subsystems & components, system integration and system verification/ validation, Model Based Development.
- Support for design and development understanding and participation in the meetings.
- Responsible for verifying and validating the developed Simulink models
- Create system requirement documents based on the vehicle performance to
- be realized.
- Based on the requirements document, create and verify control specifications \u3000
- and control models (using Simulink).
- Verification of operation using HILS/bench/vehicle, data analysis, and report writing
- Maintenance of automatic verification tools, etc.
- Documentation of design and verification records
Work Experience
Must Have below experiences
- 10+ years of strong experience in Model Based Development in automotive domain
- Hands on experience in MATLAB Simulink , State flow , Simulink design verifier
- Experience in Simulink models creation based on control specification
- Model verification against Specification, Property verification
- Hands-on experience in MIL/SIL Validation Testing
- Good experience in Matlab scripting
- Good Knowledge in C, C++, Embedded C programming
- Product and system engineering proficiency aligned with Automotive, Powertrain, transmission, control system.
Good to Have
- OEM, Tier1, supplier development experience.
- Experience in Development of lithium-ion battery electrical components for HEVs and BEVs.
- Experience in ECU design process involved in V-cycle.
- Hands on test case generation/ creation using Reactis tool
- Experience in auto code generation using Target Link, Embedded coder etc.
- Experience in PIL, HIL verification and validation.
- Expertise with System V-Cycle and systems processes defined ISO/IEC15288
- Experience in using CANoe or similar tools for validation.
- Good knowledge in control system, Vehicle dynamics, PID controllers,
- Have ADAS application system understanding
- Experience in CAN, SPI, UART or I2C protocol and CAN related tools
- Experience in FMEA and FTA (any domain is acceptable)
- Experience in Coverage improvement like MCDC, Condition, Decision etc.
- Experience in MAAB guidelines, MISRA guidelines
- Experience in Plant modeling of Powertrain system considering dynamics
- Experience in Automotive domain like Engine, Powertrain, Transaxle etc .
- Knowledge on requirement specification
- Analytical ability and strong debugging skills
- Expertise System integration, verification, validation
- Proven track record of complex problem solving.
