Technical Manager- MEP (Electrical)

Baseline Responsibilities

- Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates detailed phases of Electrical engineering work across HV , LV, IT , Automation , Life safety & Elevator

- Communicates technical issues and recommends solutions to Supervisor and/or project management.

- Facilitates technical discussions with third parties (client, suppliers, regulators)

- Conducts reviews of vendor drawings, calculations and other documentation.

- Works on conceptual studies, designs, reports, or proposals.

- Prepares cost estimates, quantity take-offs and staffing requirements for proposals, forecasts and change orders.

- Coordinates and interfaces as directed with the day-to-day technical work of discipline engineers, specialists and designers.

Qualifications / Skill

- BS degree in Electrical engineering with minimum 10 (Ten) years of Electrical experience on HV , LV , IT Automation etc from Construction Industry

- Provides engineering and technical support to discipline engineers and maintenance team on all Electrical issues.

- Maintain required levels of Electrical engineering aspect of design, integrity and performance of equipment, systems and services as per engineering specifications and relevant codes and practices.

- Lead the development and implementation of the site mid-long term reliability strategy

- Experience managing LV and HT electrical system and maintenance.

- Working experience in clean room environment / EPC / Construction will be an added advantage.

- Familiar with facility equipment like Air Handling Units, Air-Conditioners, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Air Compressors, Air- Dryers, Vacuum System, Ring Blower, Scrubber and others mechanical system for a Manufacturing Facility.

- Ensure Facilities equipment such as VCB, ACB, Switch gear, Transformer, Protection relay, MSB, SSB, DB, Capacitor bank, lightning protection, electrical & building grounding and end load are maintain in correct way with PM program in place.

- Managing project given by WD by attending project meeting request, prepare layout, idea proposed with conceptual design, budgetary and generate scope of work for tendering purpose.

- Breakdown Issue/crisis (upset) management at off working hours, weekend and public holiday.

- To coordinate and ensure necessary changes or up-grading for any product introduction.
