Labview Developer

Role & responsibilities

1. The candidate shall interact and work with cross functional teams like Mechanical Engineer, Test Engineer, Lab team and Engineering team.
2. The candidate shall be able to study and understand the project requirements.
3. The candidate shall be capable in selecting suitable data acquisition system, controls system design, software architecture and development.
4. Develop application software for new test setup and requirements.
5. Upgrade existing software to cater new test requirements.
6. Selection of sensors, integrating with control system and software as per requirement.
7. Documentation of software design, changes and updation of user manual/SOP.
8. Upgrading existing LabVIEW application software to new versions based on requirement.
9. Troubleshooting and addressing any issues in controls and software.

Testing and Validate application software before deploying to the test setup. Preparing User manual/SOP and train the test engineer.

Work Experience

1. Candidate should have minimum qualification in B.E/BTech in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation/Computer Science with relevant experience of 5 to 10 years in LabVIEW.
2. Experienced in using different versions of LabVIEW and latest version of LabVIEW with toolkits. 
3. Understand the requirement, design, and develop the NI LabVIEW based data acquisition and control system. 
4. Experienced in developing modular, scalable applications using standard architecture in LabVIEW. 
5. Experienced in developing LabVIEW application in Windows, RT Pharlap. 
6. Experienced in using and integrating all types of NI hardware i.e., PXI, CRIO, CDaq system etc. 
7. Experienced in working different communication protocols like TCP/IP, UDP, Serial, USB, CAN, GPIB etc. 
8. Experienced in integration any Third-Party programable Instruments (Non-NI) i.e., Multimeter, Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, Power Analyzers, Micro ohm meter etc. 
9. Experience in integration of any Third-Party controllers.
10. Knowledge and experience in developing NI software driver for third party hardware and software will be added advantage.  
11. Good experience and knowledge in using the INCA software.
12. Good understanding and experience in using ECU.
13. Good experience in sensor selection, sensor wiring and troubleshooting the signals. 
14. Good experience in control panel schematics study, design, control panel hardware selection and troubleshooting. 
15. Ability to work individually and as a team. 
16. Good experience in interfacing Induction motors with VFD and Control system. Good knowledge in VFD basic configuration.
17. Good experience in building UUT test setup, Daq and Controls I/O mapping.
18. Hands on experience in signal level and system level troubleshooting of data acquisition and automated test system. 
19. Good documentation skills for capturing requirements, preparation of design and User Manual.
