- We are looking for an experienced Branch Manager - Insurance to oversee the operations, business development, and team management at our branch.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth, managing daily operations, and ensuring the branch meets sales and service targets.
- You will lead a team of Unit Managers and Sales Executives focused on recruitment, relationship management, and product sales.
- You will play a pivotal role in increasing the branch's distribution network and contributing to the growth of financial products, including Mutual Funds, Insurance, PMS, FD, NPS, Loans against Mutual Funds, Equities, and ETFs.
- Responsible for the overall business development of the branch, driving revenue growth through the distribution of financial products including Mutual Funds, Insurance, PMS, FD, NPS, Loans against MF, Equities & ETFs.
- Develop and implement strategies to recruit and onboard new Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), distributors, and business partners to expand the branch's network and reach.
- Activate, motivate, and engage existing business partners to increase their contribution to product sales.
- Work closely with Unit Managers and the sales team to build and nurture relationships with IFAs, helping them meet sales targets and business objectives.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Unit Managers - Sales, ensuring they are well-equipped with the knowledge, tools, and motivation to recruit new partners and achieve sales targets.
- Manage, mentor, and guide sales staff to maximize their potential and meet the branch's goals for recruitment, business development, and customer service.
- Foster a positive and motivating team environment that drives collaboration, results, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews for sales staff, identifying areas for improvement and setting clear expectations for achieving sales goals.
- Implement effective training programs to ensure the team is up-to-date on product offerings, sales techniques, and systems usage.
- Ensure that all branch staff, including IFAs and Unit Managers, have strong product knowledge across the full range of financial products offered by the company.
- Conduct regular product training sessions and workshops to ensure the team can confidently communicate the features, benefits, and competitive advantages of the products.
- Provide guidance and support to the team in terms of marketing and sales strategies for various product categories like Mutual Funds, Insurance, Loans, Equities, and ETFs.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or branch management in the financial products or insurance sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing teams, driving sales, and achieving business growth in a branch or regional setting.
